Frequently Asked Questions
There is no assembly line or production technique to streamline the process, so order of 10 or more signs are not available.
Signs are made of: 2-3 layers of laser-cut basswood. Wood is painted with Krylon and Rust-oleum spray paints. Each sign is treated with 2+ layers of Krylon Triple-Thick Glaze.
Each sign is individually made and requires 4-8 hours of production time from start to finish. Production time is determined by the following:
- Artwork Prep – Graphics must be in vector format before being modified for optimal laser cutting.
- Image Complexity – How many pieces/paths will need to be cut for an image? If an image consists of high levels of detail, this results in a longer cut time and a more intricate paint and assembly.
- Colors – The number of colors increases production time. Each piece is separated by color and spray painted or hand painted. Multiple coats of paint may be required.
- Assembly – Each sign is assembled by hand—each piece is individually glued. Sections are sometimes manually pressed or clamped throughout assembly. Edges are sealed with a welding adhesive before the sign is sprayed with 2-3 layers of clear coat. Assembly takes up to 2 days depending on dry time.
Yes. Custom signs don’t have to be Pokémon a logo—signs can be made from most designs/graphics if they are or can be converted to a vector-based image.
Preferred image file formats are as follows: SVG, AI, EPS, and PDFs. Please note that using an image converter changes the format of your image, but does not render graphics with correctly plotted “points” and “paths” that are required for it to be laser-cut.
Custom signs start at $75 (standard 12″). Additional fees for artwork optimization range from $25-$50. Use the Quick Quote Calculator for a more detailed estimate based on size and number of colors. Price does not include shipping.
Signs will be available all upcoming 2026 summer shows I am vending at, which are listed on the homepage.
Local pickup from 21146 (Severna Park, MD) can be arranged on a case-by-case basis for custom orders.
Pokémon from Generations 1 through 5 are available to request.
Pokémon from Generations 6 and later can be requested, but may have a longer production time, additional fees, and/or may not be available.
For Buyers – Due to the level of production that goes into making each sign, they are sold at fixed prices* ranging from $20-$65.
For Vendors – If you are also a vendor at a show that I am selling signs, I will trade a sign for sealed product and/or card(s) at 75% (a $40 sign = $50 in trade).

To remove surface dust, dirt, debris—wipe with a damp cloth and pat dry. Avoid extended moisture as signs are made from thin pieces of wood that may warp if not kept dry.
To repair signs, I recommend using high-strength welding glue. Please read directions before application.
