UNGRADED CARDS/PRODUCTS
The condition of ungraded cards is based on (but not limited to) the TCG Card Conditioning Standards.
Print errors and centering are not considered to impact the card’s integrity and are not factors when determining condition.
Over 95% of ungraded cards are collector-owned, never played and in near mint condition or better. The following conditions meet the acceptable standard of sale for single cards:
- Mint (MT) – no signs of wear; super clean surface
- Near Mint (NM) – minimal whitening; no visible signs of play or handling
- Lightly Played (LP) – minor border or corner wear or even just slight scuffs or scratches; no major defects noticeable on the cards.
- Moderately Played (MP) – border wear, corner wear, scratching or scuffing, creases, dents or whitening or any combination of mild examples of these marks
- Heavily Played (HP) – there is a severe amount of wear, and can have border wear, corner wear, scratching or scuffing, creases, dents and/or whitening in high quantity.
- Damaged (DMG) – cards with any crease, bend and/or dents that show on both sides; significant scratching are automatically damaged
All products are inspected to make sure its contents (ie. packs themselves) have not been damaged and that the issues with the sealed product are purely cosmetic. Some sealed products may present imperfections such as (but not limited to):
- Hole(s) in the wrap
- Partially torn wrap, but with shrink wrap still in tact
- Dents/creasing on the box; slight signs of shelf wear
